in it always breaks on revjim.net
Coming back "home" from vacations is always difficult.
Coming back "to the place you live because that happens to be where
you are but not where you really want to be" is much MUCH harder.
Give yourself a few days to readjust.
Take some time for yourself and your family.
Do things that usually make you happy.
And keep reminding yourself that you're only in Texas for as long as You choose.

Thank you.
I was a bit afraid to post this. It's been brewing for a bit and I was unsure how well it would be received in the same way that I was when I posted this (http://revjim.net/2008/05/20/each-deliberate-step/). Plus, my writing skills are quite out of practice.
I appreciate your comment.

One of my new "twitches" is that I hate having things on line - so instead of keeping everything in one place I post and then just delete or move to the happy computer file that gets printed whenever we have paper. Somehow, it makes since to me.

Some how, that makes sense to me too. I've begun locking bits of me down as well, and am really feeling less and less inclined to "share" with "everyone". It's a nice feeling, even if it is fueled by mostly irrational paranoia. :)

I twittered a few but I don't remember most of them now.

I was pretty sure that you did, but I couldn't find them. Adding these to the list.

I absolutely adore this photo.
And the words that go with it.
Favorites: "If you open your mouth too wife" ;)
Also, the description of her fake cry.
Just know that you can NEVER write enough down.
Just like it's IMPOSSIBLE to take enough pictures.

Ha. I swear her fake cry sounds EXACTLY like that.

in the trouble with being home on revjim.net
Just come up with some code based fact that makes time not exist.
Problem solved.

Best idea yet. Without time, it all just makes more sense.
You do have a point here. Regardless of burden or hardship, I can leave
whenever I want. That's something to think about.
