Ewok adventures early is a good move IMHO. Although you need to be clear to her that they dont make an appearance in the first 2 movies. Plus, be prepared to explain why some of those cute little Ewoks bite it by Stormtrooper fire.

Katie, What if your parents got you a nose ring at 3 months old. They decided what they thought was cute and realized that if you didnt like it when you grew up, you could just remove it. The issue isnt necessarily the pain it causes, it is the decision made by your parents.

Well, it really depends on why you are doing it. Is this family in need? Are you good friends? Are you doing this for extra income or for living expenses?

In a vacuum, you are being taken advantage of. I would ask for more. But the other variables could play a huge part in determining how much more you should ask for.

Sunflower gurl, please tell me that is $15 per hour times 9 hours a day right? Let's assume that this family is not robbing you blind.

I would assume that after 4 years yu are pretty tight witht he kids and with the parents. I would be honest with them. DOn't ask for a huge increase but be honest with how you love the kids but for the amount you make, yu could be making a little more taking on a retail job or a waitressing job, etc.

Another tip I have heard: lay in your kid's bed to get their perspective of the room. It might surprise you what you see and are scared of yourself once you have that other view of the room with the lights off!

I hesitate to disagree with a woman who may have experience childbirth firsthand but I am pretty sure it isnt the dilation that hurts, its the contractions that do.

My kids have a cool 3 pronged LEGO table and I must admit, although it was expensive and takes up a good portion of our family room, it is super cool. Our kids play with their LEGO's almost every day and every day they build something cooler.

The only thing that I dislike about where LEGO has gone over the years is they have cobranded with kids brands like Dora, Thomas, Bob the Builder, and Star Wars. Now they have Indiana Jones LEGOS!

I would argue that had my space legos been Star Wars space legos I would never have come up with some of the most hardcore space freighters that I did as a kid. Mainly because I would be always trying to make the XWing fighter that it came as.

The real problem, is this thing, after a week, is still being played with. Grrrr. I'm going to have to hide it away and then eventually chuck it.

First off, I bowled 2 nearly perfect games in bowling because I pwn at bowling :)

But I agree with DonDeen. I've played the XBox 360 and the PS3 and my jaw drops with the level of detail and the graphics and sound. But I have never had more fun with a video game system like I do with my Wii. This is because of one thing: everyone feels like they could do it and it is essentially the gateway drug to video game addicts.

Some less critical but important items to add to the list:
1. They could change all your radio presets.
2. They could be adopted by Britney Spears
3. Their sweaty skin can stick to the car seat vinyl.

If this is even half as good as Here COme the ABCs, it will be worth buying.

My kids first heard about TMBG when they saw Higglytown heroes for the first time. (TMBG does the theme song and it appears on ABCs)

They pwn. And your kids will love them too.

I know that it is sometimes hard for women to understand (my wife certainly doesnt) but there are somethings that boys always tend to gravatate to.

Maybe it is some psychological thing of how males deal with conflict physically. Anyways, that could be why you don\'t see a whole lot of female hunters, fishers, or paintball players.
