think that Barack and Michelle's relationship just illuminates so many oÞher functional. And loving Black relationships and families. Now I'm not saying that we as a race don't have a long way to go in this arena. However, I do feel that we at times get a bad wrap. What the Obama's have my parents have had for 27 years and so have most of my friend's parents.It is time that we give the Black family swagger some credit because it has been in exsistence and maybe now with a Black family in the White House couples like "The Stanfields" for instance won't be seen as an irregularity in Black culture byt the absolute norm. Or at least that will be the expectation.
