I absolutely loved the film. It's one of the finest action movies and comic book adaptations I've ever seen. Every single element, and there were lots, was conducted with love and attention to detail. I'm such a huge fan of Christopher Nolan's work now and was incredibly moved by the talent of one Heath Ledger, who I shall forever miss from the cinema screen. I'm struggling to write a full review for the film because I just don't know what to say. I suppose it left me virtually speechless. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!!!

I felt the same when I saw it but I listened to a podcast at The Naked Lunch (radio show) and realized that the film was about communication and that it was never the plants for sure. Every character had trouble communicating in some way. Wahlberg couldn't get connected with his wife, she couldn't get "joey" on the phone, Leguizamo couldn't reach his wife, etc etc Then at the end when they start talking, really talking, that's when it all stops. It seemed to me like it was meant to be a higher power or something...I could be wrong! After hearing that though, I did change my opinion about the film. I still don't think it's a masterpiece by any means but it's watchable now that I think of it differently.

It's so undervalued. It will always be one of my favorite films. The music is just so haunting...I love it!

Buffy was in incredibly successful TV show with a huge cult following. Joss Whedon is the second coming to some. You could do a lot worse than to have a movie that mimics that program. However, from what I've heard from fans of the Twilight novels, this looks accurate. I think the teens are going to be pleased and I'm just happy with a new vampire film. I'm also 29 years old and download the MTV Movie awards every year (I live in Australia and do not have cable TV). It's a lot more fun than the other awards shows I enjoy. All positive from me I'm afraid! :)
