I would have to agree with Ian. Video is getting easier every day and does not need to be done "professionally". People really care about the content not the quality. The key is to just do it. Having your photos, maps, virtual tours etc. is fine but adding a video is an excellent idea. Ian's video blogs are a great move but doing interviews, house tours, etc is always a good plan.

I think it will be tough to have people move to Movable Type. Especially with Google's Matt Cutts talking about how SEO friendly Wordpress is. You can see his video here on one of the Wordpress developers blog - http://markjaquith.wordpress.com/2007/12/07/mat...

I think it is great to see Matt pushing Wordpress, even with Google owning Blogger. Shows that he is pushing the best without bias towards a Google product.
