in (suprisingly) Pro Casting Lead Speech by President Peres on Sabra At Heart
nice of the president, but this is not completely true.
although elected democratically, israel never really negotiated with the gaza govmnt. for the past months idf did its best to stop food from getting to gaza.
many israelis think the israeli army is irresponsible and WAY overreacting.
everybody knows not all the 300 killed are terrorists.
I would like to remind Mr. Peres he is also the president of Israeli Arabs and leftists who oppose the raids. the 100% "one front" theory is imaginary, plastic and infantile.

1 - We did try to negotiate with the Gaza govt ...but they answered us with rockets to Shderot , Ashelon etc; .....
2 - Out of the 300 that are not terrorist and are civilians must blame themselves ....cause we all know the Hamas are hiding those rockets in civilian territory ....as Peres pointed and I quote "....We have contacted the owners of the houses, the people that dwell there, and told them leave it. You can't live with bombs. We have to bring an end to the source of the bombs." ....
3 - The Hamas govt does not want PEACE at all ..... so it is impossible to talk with them.....when they stop firing the rockets ...i guess that is a good time to talk of peace .....
