FB is a bit hype now but there is no top dog out there to compete. Google is a global force and FB is something US centric, few people in Asia know FB. I am questioning MS-FB long term partnership, anyway we will see how FB evolve.

Quite insightful. Something similar in Vietnam where BBSs or forums are dominated but vBulletin is a winner not a local product.

Agreed, but since Asia markets are fragmented, VCs should focus on regional such as Greater China, Southeast Asia, South Asia...
