nan- i busted out laughing about your comment regarding gearty and olinto. as ridiculous as those lecture cd's were, that material was locked into my head on test day. i could hear gearty telling lame jokes and olinto's stories about tim's pink dresses. that becker material is priceless!

I like the BW process its seems to be a hybrid infrared. I have not decided if the mountains in the background help or hurt the image. I like the subtle texture in the sand it helps the bigger idea here, its not the traditional veining which sometimes can become overwhelming. I have been watching the snow build this evening time to time on the Duluth webcam - still a few brave souls out there.

I like the simple geometry, quality of line and compression. I am not sure if we talked at the airport but I think their maybe a square crop in there somewhere as well. My shot of this is not the same with the wide angle lens. Travis

Everyone's opinion on music is different.

But i have to disagree. Not because i'm a die hard fan in denial. Because when ChapterV came out i was pretty let down. And I will admit, nothing staind has come out with since compares remotely to break the cycle.

But The Illusion of Progress is an amazing CD, in my opinion. The only thing i didnt like about it was the fact they didnt use their usual staind logo on the front. The editing and production on this cd is much more noticeable and i think its a welcomed addition. Hopefully they crank out one more CD before they call it quits.

yeah, way to go marcus. if your gonna try and participate in a conversation, get your facts straight. although you are correct with the name old snake, proving that you might have played the game for maybe 5 or 6 hours, or who knows, maybe you are one of those people that skips all of the cutscenes.

they really oughta offer both. Like premium services that allow you to remove the ads and get higher speeds. ( I think pownce is one person who does this )

Some of your points are valid and worth justifying but the fact remains that the U.S. is the defending CONCACAF Gold Cup champs which means they got it done on the field. In every tournament you can make points to show where a team got lucky (remember italy vs australia 06?). Was there luck involved to win the Gold CUP? Absolutely, thats part of the game.

And yes, I am aware not every team was at full strength but you can only beat the team in front of you and thats what the U.S. did.
As for Mexico..how many more times must we beat them before people will admit we are the better team...not the more skilled team...the better team!

I am not dissing CONCACAF...it is a very difficult region to qualify from but that doesnt change that fact that you are still only offering your opinion on why the U.S. is 4th in CONCACAF right now.
Fact: Within a two week period Argentina destroyed Mexico tied the U.S. (Advantage US)
Fact: Mexico hasnt beaten the U.S. in 10 games
(Advantage US)
Fact: U.S. are Gold Cup Champs...this puts us ahead of any other team purely based on merit. (Advantage US)
You may "wish" the U.S. is the 4th team but to emphatically make that case would leave you open for mockery.

Katrik, grouping the U.S. with the "minnows" tells me you are either a soccer snob or just want to make flamboyant statements. Not one of the 3-4 best teams in CONCACAF??? That is purely one mans opinion with no available evidence to back this up. If you make a statement like that, please provide evidence to support your point.
