@dilipm I am an atheist too, but I dont think that means condemning religions on the whole (or Islam in particular). Each religion had roots in the culture and history of a place it was born into (as Adri mentions) and the structures have evolved over time. Hinduism is as "bad" as Islam if you look at the treatment of women in India over centuries.

I wish I could say that about NTU. I am sure there were opportunities - that I missed while I was in the race for those tech/banker jobs and trying to get good grades. But I regret it now completely. I wish I was like you in my uni days! Hurray to all such non-racers of life!

Roger, I actually agree with you. Social media is not web 2.0 or vice versa. I mentioned that, ultimately it is the "buzz" that makes any web 2.0 app/portal successful - its widespread integration into other services or creation of other services based on it. But, again, the "buzz" is not possible without a "community" of people adopting it and discussing it.

I did not mention microformats and semantic search - which are also fundamental to web 2.0 apps/portals. thanks for mentioning it in the video!
