You're required to enter your credit card information before you get to download the application.
One of the problems I had with the previous version was the phone-home type license. Now I have to hand over my credit info to some random financial 'authority' to test something that is supposedly free?

Personally, I did not notice any interruption to the service, but then again, I don't sync constantly so if there were problems, they were resolved before I noticed.

How about paying up when you rely on a service? That way you may legitimately complain when it goes down?

Why Podcasting shouldn't automatically start downloading Podcasts at startup?
(a) Mobile bandwitdh is very, very expensive in most of the world. I only want Podcasting to download when I'm at a Wifi point.
(b) There was a bug where Podcasting would (intelligently) change the download location from memory card to phone memory if the memory card wasn't detected at startup. S60 does not operate well with big fat unfinished MP3s taking up space in main memory.
