Keith, thanks for posting about the site, a great review and good comments. The bad things you raised are valid points, i will work on it.
Indexing is not a problem, i made a mess with cron otherwise it should index every 30 mins. I will fix this one today.
Technorati link tracking is a good idea, i will definitely work on it.

The embedded text added too much junk (comment links), who wants that. One more thing the embedded version is not visible in Google Reader

this is a must use tweak with adsense. I also add this tag to sections like header, sidebar etc.

DJ the theme looks very good. I have few suggestions if you don't mind. Front page looks nice with different sections, but some posts repeat more than once in recent posts section and also on category sections, you can get rid of this. The second thing I noticed is when you go to archives like this page 2 I expect the page should display only posts with out featured sections, if that is the way you wanted then its okay. The other thing is that the sidebar recent posts section what is it exactly is it hard coded featured posts or what?

Nice design looks good but somehow the link color looks dull, may be you need a bright color there
