The UK should just switch to the US system of recipes listing food by volume (cups/tablespoons/teaspoons) instead of by weight.

This would be so much better if they used a 4 or 5 MP cellphone camera connected to a wifi enabled SD card.

The 10 seconds vs. 60 an hour does make sense: it takes 10 seconds to crush a drive but you need the other 50 seconds to load and unload the machine giving you 60 crushes per hour.
