Eventful and Pollstar but no Last.fm, Upcoming, or SonicLiving????? That's just crazy talk.

Big ups to @lancearmstrong -- updating from TwitterBerry. Real and authentic. Nice.

in Qik and Twitter goes to Congress and causes major controversy on Scobleizer
I will watch the video to find out for myself (and I'm slapping my own wrists for commenting beforehand), but I certainly hope Culberson is getting a little less partisan in his commentary. It seems that part of the reason for the brouhaha in the first place was his inflammatory Twittering about the "Dems" and rumours spread from there.

I am excited that he struck a chord and has gotten a rally behind the cause (with help from the Sunlight Foundation, of course), but just hope that he can go forward in a way that discusses the issue without the thick coating of blame he was originally laying down.

One of the "Trending topics" on Summize for a couple weeks now has been [REDACTED] -- which is how this all started. Been trying to find the 1st █████ tweet, but what happened today is not surprising after BOTH @ev and @kevinrose did it.

Hells yes.

We met in Austin @ SXSW (before in SF??), and you truly light up whoever you're with and wherever you are. Looking forward to your next adventure in SF!

in The Making of the HBO Feature Presentation Intro on Laughing Squid
Awesome find, Scott.

Have you ever been to film night in Bryant Park (NYC) in the summers? The best moment of the entire evening is that they start each film with this video -- HBO must be a sponsor. Inevitably, the entire crowd gets up off their picnic blankets and dances around with their arms flying through the air. It's a lot of fun.

in The 10 rules of Twitter (and how I break every one) on Scobleizer
i feel the need to point out that these "rules" have in no way been outlined by twitter, inc. some of the comments seem to assume the rules are coming from the creators; but i think robert is responding to critique from users.

5. Don’t assume other people are having the same experience you are.

and don't assume that your rules work for everyone else. right? :)

in Wired? Tired? Linkbaiting? I wish on Scobleizer
perhaps you should do a recap like this every month. you produce so much content -- link blog, twitter, twittergrams, videos, blog posts -- that it's hard to consume it all.

however, your short-and-sweet recaps just made me want to stay up another hour or two watching these vids. alas, i will go to bed, but i'm bookmarking this post!

in Twitter: We Love Our Partial Conversations on Climb to the Stars

agreed!! i sent this email to twitter HQ back in march... i guess their answer was "no."

http://urltea.com/12lo?email-to-twitter

just re-read and realize how funny it sounds to talk about scoble having nearly 1000 followers. oh how things have changed!

anyhoo, i think we should start a campaign to get twitter to make it optional.

shelley, it might be time for you to go away.

i've agreed with many of your points, but it's the attitude that i don't get. i'm sorry you're not on the A-list (just read your blog for the first time after scanning these comments); but hell, most of us aren't even on the Z-list.

i'm rooting for zooomr, b/c i think they *will* change the game. am i disappointed that after two failed launches they haven't gotten any sysadmin help for kristopher? yes, but i also can't really speak to it -- the whole money where your mouth is thing.

in Philadelphia Jelly = Cream Cheese Sessions? on Alex Hillman Writes Here
I’m considering contacting twitter to set up a “PhillyCreamCheese” group that people can join, and I’ll send out an notice (or anyone, really) that I’m working from location “X” today, and anyone can join me. Impromptu Coworking at it’s finest, dontcha think?

such a great idea. there's a huge coworking scene in SF -- i would totally join a twitter coworkingSF group.
