I wonder if the trail that I built for my Eagle project is still out there.

Re: Like a new pair of shoes

Very nice, Cale. I am fan of the minimalist look. So are you going to change your name to a symbol, and post it on the colophon page? I actually thought the menu entry said "cauldron" at first. I figured you were starting the Russell C. Mooth Recipe and Potion Planner.

You and Ernie are making me want to redesign my site.

The Sweet Footer Action image is floating over the submit comment button in Camino. This could be a gecko CSS problem though, and not yours. I haven't checked in Safari.

Re: Prepared to Survive

Did they drop you off in the middle of Mt. Juliet with a cracker and a pocketknife?

On a more serious note, did you mainly do the graphic work, or did you help with the video production also?

Re: Wine & such

Are you compiling natively or through fink's libraries? The difference could be in the libpthread. I don't know what version Apple uses, or maybe they use their own custom thread library that is only roughly compatible with libpthread, which seems more likely since OSX's threading mechanism appears kind of odd. It would also seem odd to me that the Darwin folks would use the same BSD subsystem as Apple. One would think that there would be some upgrades and prerelease stuff since Darwin a testing ground as well as a source release. That's just my random thought on the problem though.

Even under *nix in certain wine versions I would get pthread-related crashes. Of course I couldn't read hex dumps, so I don't recall where the problem lied. Sometimes I think it was overaggressive optimization flags on my part.
