in McCain Jokes About Beating His Wife on Jack and Jill Politics
Eh, what?
Way to reach out for those women voters, McWifeBeater! You're doing a heckuva job!

How in the hell is the Mainstream Media gonna spin this exchange?

"Oh, he's a old war hero" bullshit.

He crashed 5 planes and blew up an aircraft carrier BEFORE become a POW.

I can't wait for him to bust out with N-bombs.

in Key McCain Supporter Lied to Keep Out Black Jefferson Descendents on Jack and Jill Politics
Wonderful. This woman stooped so low as to impersonate another person on a chat board just to keep them from joining a family reunion.

Where does McSenile find these guys?

Allow me to apply context to elements of this list
6. Black women are hot headed and have bad attitudes.

Hey, you'd be mad too if Burger King fucked up your order 3 times in a row.

8. Black women are not as sexually open as other races, especially in regards to oral sex.

Forgive the author- he never met my ex-girlfriend.

4. Black women are masculine in that they are controlling and like to run the relationship.

Behind a good man is a better woman. Sometimes the woman has to be in front, especially if it's in line at Sears.

2. Black women are too aggressive and no longer patient in waiting on the pursuit of a man.

Why is this a bad thing? PURSUE AWAY, LADIES! I'M RIGHT HERE, WAITING FOR YOU! HANG ON, I GOTTA TAKE A PISS FIRST.

7. Black women stop caring about their appearance after a certain age.

I take it you've never been to Kentucky.

Nevertheless, a guy who says this is usually 300 pounds themselves. Ask not what your wifey will do for you...ask what you will do for your wifey.

9. Black women’s tolerance is far too low; they are no longer empathetic to the black man’s struggle in white America.

They already know it suxs. They might not know why it suxs, but if you don't fight it, don't expect them to cry over your ass because they're fighting the same battle.

in Obama Makes Vice-Presidential Move on Jack and Jill Politics
@rikyrah

I don't understand Hillary; first she says she wants it, then she says she don't, then her staff says to offer it so she can turn it down.

TURN IT DOWN??? What's the point of asking, then?

@ rikyrah

Well, I won't tell you how you or your audience should feel about this picture. You have every right to feel outraged by it.

that said, I too am disappointed by the picture. Not outraged though, because the GOP has been doing exactly what the picture portrays them to be doing.

"Branding" her as being anti-American.

Trying to lynch her (O'Retard on Faux News) literally.

Attacking her in groups (The TN GOP ad).

And the infamous southern strategy called upon by Clinton and McCain's Swift Boaters (Though with Clinton, she only won KY, WV, AR, and TN and technically FL. Hardly a winning team).

The Klan and the bigots are in play this election big time. Dick Morris said it himself on TV.

McCain's buddies are the architects of the collapse of the Middle Class of America (Phil Graham especially)

Your own site's postings proves the argument for the picture.

But if the GOP wants to do this Southern Strategy crap by going after Michelle Obama, then they'll find Cindy McCain and her drug addiction and her possible affair on the front pages of the newspapers as well.

in Is John McCain Dissing Black Republicans? on Jack and Jill Politics
They should be concerned about McMoron. However, if I were them, I would be more worried about whether McBush would do to Black appointees what Bush did.

Yeah OK, he promoted and hired a lot of blacks. But, look at whom he hired and what they did.

Condi Rice and Colin Powell are now war criminals (re: Torture-gate) and both of them have almost no credibility on the international political market. Alphonso Jackson is a RACE TRAITOR who only got his job because he was Bush's neighbor, and signed off on poisoning people in Baltimore.

The rest of his hires were corporate cronies.

And don't get me started on the Armstrong Williams debacle.

McCrane, meanwhile, voted against every piece of civil rights legislation that came his way, plus voted against MLK holiday and Medicare fund releases for Katrina victims. So they have every right to be worried- McCrap will treat them worse than Bush did.

You sleep with dogs you get fleas.

in Clinton Staying in Race In Case Obama is Assassinated on Jack and Jill Politics
Yeah, we were all over this on the AAPP BlogTalkRadio Show.
She's gone TOO FAR! TOO DAMN FAR! this is a BRIDGE TOO FAR!

Emotions aside, she didn't even need to bring it up! She doesn't even have to continue her campaign. the DNC has rules and choices to make if a candidate is 'picked off' or too sick to serve. Hillary would have been in that short list of options, but not after this. Now if something happens, she is suspect #1.

in Through The Looking Glass……. on Jack and Jill Politics
She may be willing to commit party-cide but the Superdelegates won't let her.
Howard Dean is gonna shut this down by June. Her campaign has given June 15th.

Her options are out. The only reason why she's sticking around is to make money to pay the bills.

in Obama On Why Him Over Clinton: "Hillary Doesn’t Believe In Bottom Up Democracy" (video) on Jack and Jill Politics
The way that both campaigns are managed are striking.
Mark Penn, her strategist, is using micro-studies and image/message shaping to targeted groups.

That's why she's tellin' so many lies (NAFTA, Bosnia, etc).

Obama is running with Dean's strategy; macro-population dynamics. In other words, building coalitions from the ground up and and getting a general mesasge out to everybody. And not playing Electoral College games.

We'll see who wins in November.

in David A. Paterson Sworn In As The 55th Governor of New York on Jack and Jill Politics
The affair lasted from 99 to 01. Now it's resolved. This isn't like he went out and was bangin' ho's for 4300 a pop and 80k a year.

Now if he were cheating today, then I could see a problem.

Anyway, BO is bringing out the progressives this year. I think we could see a Dem majority in 09 thru 11.

in Elevating A Commenter From Middle America On Obama on Jack and Jill Politics
This is something that's being repeated throughout America.
People are turning in droves to Barack because they feel the system is corrupt and not listening to their needs.

Barack is still a part of that system; but unlike Hillary Or Jon (they sometimes call him Juan) he was not the one who broke it or made it worse.

So, if Barack Obama wins the nomination; he can inspire more people to vote for progressive senate candidates and we could very well see a 60 vote majority. Then that gives him the ability to make things happen in large amounts.

I'm not too big on the "UNITED" thing, but as long as the Neo-cons or McCain are out of power, the better.

in Edwards Walks the Line in Support of the Writer’s Strike on Jack and Jill Politics
I am not 100% sold on Edwards, but if he won a few primaries than maybe I'd believe him a little better.
That said, he is nowhere near perfect, but at least he is out there.

Is it disingenuous to be marching out there for writers on strike when his old hedge fund probably invests in the companies that forced the writers to strike? Perhaps, but hedge fund managers aren't exactly the type to listen to reason...so Edwards is having his cake and eating it too.

"He sees Edwards benefiting from the same "electability math" when people realize they don't really think the country will vote for a woman or a black man."

This part is disturbing on 2 levels.

1) John Edwards has already stated that people who aren't willing to vote or a woman or a minority should not vote for him. So he already throws them out as well. Other white candidates have not made such statements, and a candidate cannot exactly stop a person from voting for them.

2) The same math is what led to Bush winning all those red states, so the "math" can backfire, especially if Republicans pull out another "Willie Horton" card.

That being said, Edwards CAN win a general election and he can be reasoned with. The Republicans cannot be reasoned with, or act in the best interests of everything in this nation.

Mitt Romney is out there making racist statements (ok, it involves Muslims, but still), Giuliani is so corrupt it's unbelievable AND he is in bed with FOX News- perhaps the MOST anti-black news agency ever. Huckabee represents the Christian Right-Wing Fundamentalists (and we know how THEY feel about black people), Paul is supported (unwillingly) by the white supremacist movement, McCain has no respect for women or cancer survivors, Tom Tancredo (who actually showed up to the NAACP forum) is running only on 1 issue, and Alan Keyes is only running so white suburbanites won't think the GOP is full of racists.

Will all that in mind, why should it be no surprise that 90% of black people won't vote for a Republican.
