I guess I have been very fortunate never to have to use any of that stuff. It amazes me though the number of people online I run into that have one or more serious needs for or are are currently using such drugs. What does that say about Internet users? Hmmmm ....

Tim, You need to check out proper Internet Etiquette where typing all in capitols is the same as yelling. It doesn't help your cause one bit.

Now thatr he has won this Election, His next trick is to just survive, that and some how turn this big ol boat of an US economy around and get it gong some place healthy. The Kind of People that took down Martin Luther King could very well still be lurking some where.

Waiting.

I pray they aren't.

Interesting Post. I guess being relatively new to Blogging (About 2 years), I am very surprised to hear about this. Being a member of E-card, I find it very hard to believe that anyone would be thinking this way. Seems to me that Blogging is doing just fine.

I am glad you are jubilant in Obama's win. I voted for McCain. I can appreciate the historic nature of his election and what it means to many people that are familiar with Martin Luther King and his great oratory. I am going to support Obama fully, as he is My president or will be shortly.

I know the feeling. I have a blog that uis devoted just to try and be humorous. The way the world is now, I can still throw up a blog post, but I can tell the humor is lacking, or at least the quality I'm looking for and know I can put out. It's just real hard to find some thing funny these days in America.

I have never used Twitter. I used Plurk for a short while, but got a little weirded out after a while. Sounds Like Twitter might be growing up some. I might have to check it out.

Might that be NT 4.0? I used that for about a year and lived to tell the tale. You are a brave soul for even thinking about doing what you are doing , much less expecting actual results. Sorry, But my opinion of that operating system is way jaded.

I don't think it can hurt your writing at all, posting daily. I just hope you don't reach the point of burnout.

It drives me crazy when I don't get an image up every day, the writing not so much.

Keep up the good work and glad you had a good weekend.

I'm thinking this might be one of those be careful of what you wish for, cause You just might get it and it might end up to be nothing like you thought it would be like.

I sure do miss seeing your happy face at the Entrecard Forum. But I Fully Understand why.

As Far As Edible Arrangements and the Negative vibe - I was an employee of theirs, briefly. I found an ad in Craigs list, responded and maybe 3 weeks later, actually set foot on the actual operating premises. Brand new construction out in the west part of our town, in a brand new strip mall. Lost of money tied up for sure, a brand new Full size refrigerated Delivery van.

Si, the first week I was hired - training. Not for me, being the delivery guy, but for the production crew. The last day of training, after being promised I was going to have training, I asked about what I was supposed to do.

Trainer: "You know how to deliver in town, right?"

Me: "Yeah."

Trainer: "Good enough for me."

End of my training.

So, there is supposed to be a two person team running this outfit, a bother and sister. The sister hires me on, after she interviews me, and sets up my hours. I don't see hide nor hair of the Brother. They open their doors one week prior to Valentines day. From the get go, we are told Valentines day is one of the busiest for Edible Arrangements.

To try and make a very long story some what shorter, The brother finally shows up 2 days prior to Valentines day, takes over production and the delivery end of the process, totally rearranges my hours (translation, I get screwed) and then the day after Valentines, I am told I am not A good fit, and shown out the door. Really CS in my book. The sad thing is that is the first job I have been putting down on my applications ever since and it hasn't worked worth a damn. Yes, Feb. 14rh was the last day I worked this year.

There is so much more to the story, but I shant bore you to tears.

Today, I was told I was rude By Ben for defending Entrecard.

ahynes1 beamer,

Thanks. I did have a good weekend. Yet for me, getting a blog post up every day is not so much about my social life on the Internet, as it is about my discipline to try and write every day. I am hoping that this discipline is making me a better writer. I sure hope so.

I'd like that picture a whole lot better if the edible arrangements fruit was out of there. They were the last people I worked for back in March and I got some really bad energy going their way.

With our 3 children grown out of school, it's kind of nice having time not involved with school problems right now. We got grand children coming and I guess the second round will start soon.

I agree, Participation is a great thing and absolutely more parents need to get involved.

I'm really Sorry to hear about the trouble your in. I guess, luckily I rent, But I have been gainfully unemployed since November of last year. It is rough out here in the real world and I guess the house of card these lenders have built for themselves is acting like Ike came through.

Good Luck man.

in Letting It Be - So Hard To Do on Oh Fer Cryin' Out Loud
With my last big job loss, I had been there 4 and 1/2 years plus and did a lot for the company which members of management weren't really aware of, but these steps I did saved the company a lot of time and effort. I figured if they were wanting to know what it was I was doing, they would ask. Well they never did ask.

They decided they no longer needed my services and let me go. What I found was to say to the manager, "You do what ever you feel you have to do."

I turned and left. I felt so good with that release, I put it back on him. I didn't allow for his negative, backwards approach on life to get me down.

Yesterday I talked to one of the employees that is still working there. Business is hurting so bad. Gee, if they would have kept me on, who knows.
