in Google Chrome Memory Usage on Richard's Linux and E-learning blog
Would someone tell me why there are two or three processes for Chrome running on my PC? But over all it is fast, well with a GB of RAM it is bound to be fast :-)

Richard Bradshaw That's how it's designed, each tab and plugin gets it's own process. That way, if one crashes it won't crash the whole browser.
