No way? Are these all iPhone pics?

garethidavies Yep every picture on this site from 20/10/2008 has been captured on an iphone, and peeps say the phone has a bad camera... It's not what the camera can do for you but what you can do with the camera - I don't who said that but it's true!

BTW - good to meet you last Friday.

I think you're underestimating just how explosive I think the socialisation of TV will be. Already, so many of our media and online habits are fed in to activity streams. Boxee already feeds out your TV viewing habits in this way. And all of this can be fed in to other services, ie. Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed.

Imagine when your actual TV will share what you're watching with friends, invite your parents to watch the show you're watching, call up VOD to watch with a group of friends, maybe even seeing and hearing what they are making of the show through webcams that will, no doubt, be built in to the set. There's going to be a lot of innovation in this space in the next five years.

Nothing to do with the recession. LE had been flailing for some time.

By no means is this the first time Google has advertised on a third-party site.

in Google Apps and Account Chaos Fixed (More or Less) on Zoli's Blog
Okay, not exactly sure what you're saying; maybe you could help...
I originally joined Google as iamrob@gmail.com; I'm a big Reader, Docs and Calendar user there. I later joined Apps as mail@robertandrews.co.uk; I use it mainly for Mail. So you're saying I can delete iamrob@gmail.com (with mail@robertandrews.co.uk as new primary address) and... *what* will happen? I'll be able to login to the former iamrob@gmail.com as mail@robertandrews.co.uk... ?

What happens in the case of the services which will be shared on both Apps and standard Google? Like, what happens when a service wants to add an event to Calendar - will it be added to Apps Calendar or standard Google Calendar... ?

Also, as a precaution, a while back I created a separate mail@robertandrews.co.uk Google account - but this is unused - could or should it come in to play, or should it even be deleted?
I'm keen that I use Apps for every service which has an Apps version.

In the case of Calendar, I think I'll probably end up exporting events from Google Calendar then importing them back up to Apps Calendar, actually, rather than as part of a migration. But this would be difficult for Docs and Reader (all that juicy reading history), so I'd like this to come as part of a migration if it wouldn't spoil anything...

Thanks.

Oh blah blah blah.
It's not just up to the *artists*. The *artists* have been making albums for years. Is the public still interested in a *collection* of works that span a basket of related topics and hues over multiple tracks? I am. I'm not sure that the rest of Web 2.0 culture, with its hyper-attention deficit disorder, can stomach a work as involved as a 45-minute collection, however.

What we're talking about here is the impact of technology on art.
If we stop buying albums, if artists stop making albums, then we are doomed to suffer an interminable race to the bottom, in which artists cease thinking broadly and with significant creative merit, and instead resort to making only the catchiest, poppiest of quick-hit tunes. That's something I'd like to rale against.

My Apps account didn't require that I enter my gmail.com Google Accounts details. Can I still combine my domain account and Google gmail.com account?
