Amazing post HRC... I'm kinda pissed about not being around to see the show.. but I'm so glad I did not go... I would have ended up dead or in jail if I saw a security guard elbow anyone in the head while trying to get a camera...

Great recap... I felt the same way about Of Montreal when the did their 3-night stint last time around. I really wanted to like the show but had a really hard connecting... and I actually enjoy their studio recordings. Barnes wore a red-latex/leather getup under a lace poof skirt and long white trench coat... oh.. and pearls. no costume changes.. but he did remove an article of clothing after every song until he was wearing nothing but tight leather shorts and pearls...

Funny how a band we all once loved so much at one time could fall so far in our affinity list. I wonder if Billy had this epiphany after playing 7 'unabridged' songs from the new album... and getting little reaction from the crowd... when he said, "Thanks to all 7 of you that bought the album" at which point he rocked out a few classics... and yes.. goosebumps.
