I did have a number of 45s and a few 78s at one time. I do not have an iPod.

Re: AIS - Check your GPS Offset For Errors | gCaptain.com

Maybe the waypoints listed on the ship's log were in the wrong datum. Perhaps the coordinates listed are in NAD-27 and the ship's GPS uses WGS-84. There might be an error in the north reference, with the captain reporting magnetic and AIS reporting true bearings, a 17-degree difference. There was a report of the captain being unfamiliar with the ship's navigation equipmant, which should be standardized.

Re: Exercise To Conserve Energy

We can save gasoline by riding bikes, as I have for the past 19 years. With several 70-km rides, I will never need a car. I have biked to San Francisco 20 times, to Gilroy twice, to Santa Cruz, Oakland, Half Moon Bay, and Sausalito once each. Bikes need to be advertised as a fun alternative to cars, video games, and TV.

Re: World's Most Energy Efficient Vehicle? I have also biked to Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, Gilroy, Sunol, Sausalito, and San Leandro. The Hollister ride took 11 hours, to Oakland in 14 hours, including stops to eat.</p>
