I am a FN addict and normally watch the channel up until those annoying Neely's come on...

I remember they had shows like The Melting Pot which taught food from other cultures, and several other shows actually hosted by restaurant chefs. What they have now is nothing more than a bunch of hacks just throwing crap in a pot and it is very predictable, nothing original. I actually do like watching Giada though she is still somewhat creative.

Anyhooo....there is a new show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, it's pretty good...

Re: If I want a little Syrah should I order a Petite Sirah?

Great wine guide, definitely some good points to think about. Jerry and Mark are fans of the game and their respective teams and fans reflect that. Tom hick said something about how the British soccer fan is more appealing than the fans that attend his games. What does he expect if he does not portray the image of a fan.

Sell the teams tom, take the money and run and leave us fans to enjoy the game.

P.S. I don't listen to BAD radio anymore because I can not stand Dan's damn whining. For the longest time I have been in the house or gym torturing myself on the treadmill. I never thought I would be able to run long-distance outside because I am more of a sprinter.

So I have been getting up in the wee hours of the AM and running my little two miles. It is taking me 26 minutes; I am working on improving that. I also walk my route in the evening after work. The sun is still out then and here in TX it is about 100 degrees so I am slowly acclimating myself to that by walking. Great tip on the long sleeve white shirt never would have thunk that.

Re: Heat Training

Well that's cool, I just read your About Page and I am up here in Dallas complaining about the heat. I have only been to Jamaica's tourist resorts and was discouraged by the guards at the gate not to venture out, so I was unable to see any of the real history and culture of the Island. This is very unfortunate. Your story however has given me a small glimpse in to important history that is slipping away. Thank you for the post.

Re: 4HWW Readers’ School in Vietnam Opens its Doors — Time for a Trip?

Great work ya'll, I am proud of all those that contributed.
