I should correct to say: This is why I gave up *being part of* the Christian community. There are many, many wonderful Christians who do amazing things in this world. All I'm saying is that sadly, I just don't fit in with most of them.
This is the reason why I gave up on the Christian community. Why if I'm not a cookie cutter churchgoer must I be rejected? Isn't Christianity about love and acceptance? If I am good and charitable and spiritual why must I also be prim and proper? Particularly when I'm sure such standards are hardly possible unless there is some hypocrisy involved.
