His twin brother, Chris, was one of the founders of HighRock Church in Boston, as well.

Re: how I’m quoted in the Los Angeles Times article

You're on angryasianman, also!

http://www.angryasianman.com/2007/09/asian-amer...

Re: seeking English pastor for Houston church

Hey DJ,

There's a site called Korean American Ministry Resources( kamr.org ) that lists churches and job openings for pastors. It would be neat if something like the Asian-American church plants website had a classified section for churches to post any openings they had.

Re: seeking English pastor for Houston church

DJ,

Those two sites are great! I may check it out. Only thing though...for a conference on urban church planting and one taking place in NYC I do wish they had more speakers who reflected the makeup of cities today in America.

Re: mainstreaming of Korean food

It's interesting to read your thoughts on Korean food. I think most Korean food is really difficult to mainstream. When eating out w. non-Koreans I have no problem introducing the more standard dishes like the BBQ meats and Bi-Bim-Bop, but am somewhat reluctant to order for them some of my favorites like nakji bokum (spicy stir-fried octupus w/vegetables) and dwenjang chigae (bean paste soup w/tofu, clams, mussels, and vegetables). I think the latter dishes may be a little too different for some palates.

Here's a cool website that explains a little more on other dishes:

http://www.trifood.com/nakjibokum.html
