I am glad that you used a photo from when we played Ohio State. It is the only game that the seats are totally full, and well...from a distant they all look like IU fans!

E, bud select, are you kidding me......ugh, that takes the cake. Maybe you could buy Stemler a few of them to help him get over his PATHETIC defense. I sat 7 rows up on the east side, and Stemler was lost. Actually this was the most glaring weakness throughout the game. Crawford was lost several times as well. The D really needs some work, the intensity was there, but the assignments were not.

Please save your taste buds from that horrible gimmick of a beer, how 'bout a guinness or new castle?

Crawford should have been sitting beside KS getting with a notebook and pen. Armon took the kid to school on how to play some D, and score within the boundaries of the offense, not just throwing up a shot to do so. We NEED Armon, p.e.r.i.o.d. Without him this game is a loss. Crawford is a great talent, and as you pointed out, does look a little like Armon did last year. Armon, you like cortisone, big boi?!

The Star needs to hire Jason Whitlock away from KC and let him cover all things he wants to. I know he is a sports writer (maybe the best), but his socioeconomical and race views need to be aired in a wider format, ESPECIALLY in this half-ass city.

Totally agree, but...where is the outrage for the 'common' citizen? A community goes up in arms when a LEA is struck by the violence that they are attempting to stop, but what about the neighbor, aunt, mom, son, daughter living their lives, that are taken by the criminal? Why does it take this for a response from a community? LEA's understand the risk of their duties; the retiree living his life, the women trying to start a new life, and a friend trying to have some dinner....WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? Just saying....

I agree about providing services, but (BUT!!) why would we* not want our tax dollars spent on a service that would also provide employment to our citizens who also pay taxes? Not to mention, how do you explain to someone 3,000 miles away that the stop light at 71st and Keystone is out? C'mon Abdul....

Here's a novel idea: If you don't have the money to buy food, then you shouldn't have money to buy alcohol, tobacco, drugs, ect.

I know that there are truly needy folks out there (I work with them), but a lot of people utilize food banks to afford themselves other "luxuries". And while I am at it, what about the tax refunds? How many people filled out a tax return with little to no income (as they are making money through alternative avenues, ie drug dealers), but still receive the refund?

Unfortunately it is the "STATE" government, which means that its primary focus is NOT Indianapolis, but the STATE. Yes, IPS is beyond repair, no argument there. What Charter schools are there to speak of in areas such as Washington, Dekalb, Fountain Counties (ect., ect.)? Although the city of Indianapolis/County of Marion, feel that the STATE taxpayers should heal all of their wounds, this is not the way it should be working! People, Indianapolis is not what the STATE government should be governing (primarily, of course....)

I for one don't care what party someone aligns themselves with, as long as they have the their constituents best interest in mind. IE. Someone needs to expose the CIB/Mayors Office/CCC actions. If it takes stepping out of line, then so be it, just follow through.....the taxpayers deserve answers.

I agree, with the exception of the Indians. The whole point of a minor league team (besides growing talent for the MLB) is to provide a good value for families to attend, not to mention it gets kids excited about baseball. So, outside of adding the Indians, I am fine with it.
