Nice post some to bookmark and read from time to time :). Actually I learnt few stuffs in this regard from practical experience, such as,
* I design crap - almost anything I have coded if I look at it after 5/6 months I feel that oh I missed that and if I don't have it I am doomed, so I knew that a single mind can only might be able to design some parts e.g. 80%, rest needs to be done through discussion, revisiting the design later and time.
* Learn from mistakes - Usually when I see a code I think is a crap, I first think I am probably missing something so I dig more, try to lookup something in the docs and if I still do not find anything to make that code rational, I then consider the alternates and cost of refactoring and so on; but most importantly I take note of the mistakes, write relevant test cases and use cases so that I can remember them for my future work. So instead of criticizing I try to learn from it.
I also agree with Andre Faria Gomes' comment on TDD and DDD. BTW, thanks for link to the book its a topic of my interest :).

The first impression from the site is that the design and outlook is nice and professional. But there are several things that came to my attention. Firstly there are links which just takes to the top of the page but it should instead was supposed to take to another page. For example the links associated with the Team members name. If a link does not take anywhere than it should not also be clickable.
Secondly about using the logos at the bottom of the page, there is supposed to be legal repercussions of using them without permission and also the colors of the logos are not their originals so i might subject to legal scrutiny and also might point that there is a certain disregard for TMs and IPs which is not good for your business.
