Oh man these were great! The best one I ever had was a tabletop unit that looked like a machine gun. It had a base that rotated and the display would change as you turned. The object was to shoot the incoming tanks by rotating the position of the gun. Man I wish I knew what that was called!

Yeah but if you have to have a water line running to your vending machine, that limits where it can be placed. Its alot easier (and cheaper) to just plug in a machine to a wall socket rather than run new plumbing. Novel, but I'm skeptical if it will take off.

Couldn't they just read the pad on top which also has the transcribed note? Sort of defeats the purpose if the note is sitting right there, unless you make the toast for the other person. Though it would be hilarious to break up with someone with a piece of toast.

... Its my understanding that even fluorescent bulbs use power, so why wouldnt you just draw from its wiring? Its a neat concept, but yeah, not very advantageous.

Im trying to line up favors for my wedding for the guests, and being the technodweeb that i am, it was decided personalized USB flash drives with photos on them would suffice. If something like this were cheaper (say less than $150) it would be cost effective for me. But seeing that preloading files costs only $1 per drive from promotional companies, $8K is a bit excessive for something i'd only use twice.
I could even save the $150 and just preload them myself, just need a couple hubs and lots of free time...

I've seen these at a couple of the malls near where I live. Never to that scale though, usually only like a 6'x8' projection. Typically, it draws in small children who chase around an interactive soccer ball.

Wouldnt you be putting more pressure on the injured leg with this? I'd think you'd have to have a very specific leg problem below the knee or foot problem to use this, where as a crutch is more universal.

It's a pretty cool concept. Concerns would be with it tearing up the grass you just cut with the back wheel's traction. maybe under inflating or modifying it for a larger tire could prevent it. One with a clipping catcher would be sweet.

I once took a wrist watch and wound fishing line in it. Same principal, watch didnt work, and as far as functional, i doubt it would be as effective as piano wire.
With that 3mm gun, you might as well throw toothpicks at your target.
