Too lazy and complacent to do anything about the problems. And it is very true. 95% of the people I spoke with said they've lost hope because they're "pretty sure that the next leader to replace GMA will still be a corrupt one". Having that frame of mind, they resigned to any idea of fighting corruption and still manage to bicker and blame each other.

I think that the "rice shortage" was another devious ploy to re-channel the masses' attention from the Lozada scandal. And it seem to have worked well. I mean, seriously...rice shortage? Come on...we haven't stopped producing rice..how can there be a shortage?

Pish. Filipinos would rather watch Pacman throw and receive punches rather than see what's happened to the Frank victims. Kids would rather be Pacman or an "artista" now than be a doctor/teacher/pilot or Jose Rizal for that matter. Imagine that generation running the country someday. What a circus. What a tragedy.

Re: CAMIGUIN ISLAND, Philippines

now, more than ever. I wish I was able to attend a field trip to Camiguin when I was in college. I will visit the island someday, hopefully, sooner than that. :D

p.s.
my bestfriend's last name is Reyes as well although they're not from Camiguin.

Re: Twinkies

nom nom nom

they are indeed lovely...especially to the palate
