The old logo was much better.

Also as I look @ the side letters, I understand you want it to be "DM" but it looks much more like OM, OE ...

Also since your tagline is "grep understanding knowledge" and you've got a big old PIPE line there between your letters running down and your letters running across, you might as well put "grep" running down, and your Dmiessler & "understanding knowledge" across - this way your tagline would actually reflect the cmd line "grep|dmiessler" (search yourself) and "grep|understanding knowledge".

It would also invite a little thought and would be an artisitic way to express the thought.

Just my $0.07 .... (accounting for inflation).

Re: New Site Logo III

Much better, good to see the logo again - how did you come up with that? With YUM, you get the benefits of apt-get (Debian). The GUI is slick (KDE or Gnome) and just about anything you want is a "yum install " away. I have it on my home boxes as well as my laptop.

My laptop runs the Centrino chip (Intel Pro 2915 a/b/g chip) ... a simple firmware copy (downloaded from Intel) to the /lib/firmware directory and a modprobe, and I was flying high in wifi.

Re: Religion: Installing Fedora

Also, try Tomboy ... great app for quick note taking, and a few plugins available. I do the advanced google search a lot, it's a shame they removed the <6 month> timeframe, it goes from 1 month to a year now.

I did notice that these scripts do NOT work on the Android browser :(

Re: New Site Logo

I don't care for it, I have always liked your prior logo -- some things are better left untouched.

Re: New Site Logo II

I still prefer the old one... why change a good thing?
