I am very interested in seeing how will CBS "water" the show down, seeing that the show is too gruesome for network TV. This is why Dex is on prime cable. It is one of my top 5 shows of the moment after all. The Wire, Lost, Friday Night Lights, BSG and Dexter. Top 5 in that order.

I'm hoping FOX will keep Terminator: TSCC although it lost more than 10 million viewers from its playoff fueled Giants vs Cowboys game premiere in January. Even if that means canceling Prison Break , which has become more of a Sci-Fi show than Terminator.

LOST had the best episode... probably ever, last night. It's a shame that Nielsen viewers would rather watch Don't forget the Lyrics than one of the most intelligently written shows of the decade.

OMG!?! What the Hell?! Idol won the night!?? Never saw that in a million years. Fingers crossed that it gets renewed for another season, I mean it's doing pretty well in the demos, FOX would be mad to cancel it.

The first season of Life was very good and I think NBC did well by renewing it for another season. Hope to see it's ratings improve over the course of the second season.

LOST is phenomenal this year, and the only thing better than LOST this year was the final season of The Wire. The Wire was just three steps ahead of every TV-show out there.

Jericho I really tried to watch, I loved the premise of the show and everything, but it just didn't deliver, I'm sorry Jericho fans I just don't see this show going anywhere. I hope the fans at least get a somewhat satisfying finale. Don't jerk them around with cliffhangers CBS if you won't renew it for a third year. And that is definitely not looking likely.

I'm sorry, but Jericho sucked in the first season and it still sucks in the second season. That's a fact. That is why people don't watch it. It's a frakkin miracle CBS renewed it in the first place. I guess they didn't know what to do with all them nuts, so they renewed it for 7 more episodes.

You've got my back, Robert! :-) Those are some solid numbers for The Big Bang Theory, I admit I enjoy the show. Not as much as, say, The Office, but Kaley Cuoco is definitely a plus for TBBT.

Well I don't get it. 2.5 Men constantly has big numbers (incl. repeats). I hate that show. I mean, I get it... it is a much simpler comedy where people do not have to tune in each week (yet they do) and they will laugh for 30 minutes and forget all about the show the minute they change the channel. I don't like the characters, I don't care about the characters, I don't find them amusing at all... I guess I just like a little bit more from a show I watch.

frankj, indeed she is! :-) BTW, I've heard some whispering that FOX did in fact renew Terminator for a second season. I don't think it's official yet, but the spoilerTV section @ DarkUFO is reporting that Summer will be back.

Indeed it is. It's going to be a very long month waiting for just 5 new episodes and then, like a 9 month long hiatus waiting for season 5. Damn. LOST is truly one of the best shows ever, with The Wire gone, it just might be my number 1 show of the moment. It probably won't ever dethrone The Wire, but it will be a close second.

ahhahaa, Omar on LOST! If he ended up on the island, the show would end in, like, 2 episodes because everybody would die by the hand of one of the greatest characters on TV. Ever. All in the game! I mean, the guy jumped out of a window and survived! Too bad we didn't get to see a Omar-Marlo showdown.

You should really check out Friday Night Lights, it's an amazing show. I hope it gets renewed for a third season, this DirecTV-NBC deal better go through.

Yeah, as David Simon once said, Omar has a code, but ultimately he IS a bad guy. He kills people.

I mean, I totally agree with you that it would probably take Omar two or more seasons to figure out who's good and who's bad on the island, but when he does he would definitely have an upper hand on the master of manipulation, Ben. I mean, he's f****** Omar! And in my book, Omar>>>Ben any day! :-)

I've watched it! It was pretty awesome! They actually mentioned Summer! Actually they didn't but the dialogue goes something like this:

The scene involved two guys talking about the movies, Miles Dyson and the new Terminator tv show.
One guy asks why would SkyNet build a petite 17-year-old killer robot, and the other guy responds 'maybe they are kinky?' Something like that.

This is great news because we do get at least one more season of this amazing show.

Tony, I wouldn't say the show is all that predictable. I mean, yes, the first season finale was a bit cliche, every once in a while it is predictable, but most of the show actually feels honest and genuine and that's what it's all about.

I compare this show to my all-time favorite show, The Wire. While The Wire was a show set in Baltimore (big america) and centered around drug trade in America, FNL is set in Dillon (small time america) and centered around football.

They are two completely different shows, but both of them are honest and true in what they try to achieve.

Hope I made sense. :-)

Heroes started to suck the moment Mr. Bryan Fuller left. Season 2 was a complete waste of time. But I watched it, and will continue to watch. But if they don't get their act together...

FNL and Life in friday night deathslots. The two shows are NBC's best 2 hours of quality TV in the schedule.

WTH? It's not canceled. It'll be back for a 13-episode third season on Oct. 1 on DirecTV, Channel 101. NBC is going to air the third season in February of 2009.
