heh. SOMETIMES i wish my boyfriend would react a bit more dramatically when i threaten break-up (during arguments). he just says, "if that's what you want" or "up to you".... -__- but in the end, i'm still glad he kept his cool, because i would lose my respect for him to see him begging and pleading for me to stay. not to mention i might take him for granted too.

if i were in your position, i think i would want to take him home, nurse him, protect him and love him too, but it's born out of pity and sympathy, because women are made to nurture, after all. :)

did you try the famous cendol shop? i read the review on xes.cx and i was drooling at the pics. the cendol is the main motivating factor for planning the malcca trip. :P

i recommend the cheese baked rice in vivo :) best i've tasted. kim gary's always leave me feeling jelak and bloated half way through, but vivo's just makes me feel like ordering another! :)
the vivo branch i tried was in johor, but there's one in the curve, too.

and i concur about the french toast. the ultimate food indulgence!

yeah at first i didn't want it. i totally forgot about it actually. when i made my pre-order, the AH staff didn't know how many bags they will be getting, so it was supposed to be first come first served on the reservation list. when they didn't call me after that, i assumed that there wasn't enough to go around. then two weeks after the launch to the public, AH called me to tell me that they are still keeping my bag. heh. so of course, after reading all the hooha about it, i gotta claim mine. hahaha. anyway, i love it! super roomy and sturdy! :D can dump everything in it, and moreeee. :D

one advice i always adhere to when my bf and i fight is that we should never go to sleep without resolving the issue at hand firs. :)

usually, i don't like fights though, because it always leaves me feeling insecure, even though we have made up after that. i believe that fights are needed to solve major problems and once all potential problems in a relationship has been fought about (and solved), a couple should not have any major screamfest any more. :P so far, it seems to hold true for my relationship. the first 1.5 year was rocky, but now it's all very harmonious. :) *touch wood*

mohdzawi: there is a way to increase pinkpau's blog's font size, if you're using opera. go to view > zoom > select percentage. firefox and IE has the increase font size/zoom function, but sometimes they don't work for certain sites. hope this helps! :)

my friend related a true story to me once. she was driving back home at night after supper with her bf and her brother back in her hometown in Kedah. she did somethng wrong (i can't remember what) and the police stopped her. he asked her for a RM 300 (!!!!) bribe straight out. when she said that they just spent all their money on supper, he asked them to show him their wallets and give him EVERYTHING they have, down to the last cent. luckily, my fried resisted and said sorry la, no money, just give me the summons. and so she got summoned and paid the fine.

i agree with anonymous at 11.35. the only way to get back at those fuckers is to show that we're not their milking cows and we can't be that easily pushed around. if you made a mistake, own up and pay for it. don't perpetuate this neverending cycle of bribery and then complain about it.

i agree with your points, especially on the hypocrisy. i can't fathom how they can say such things and yet believe that it is right and good to behave so. even if they are religious, does it give them the licence to mouth off like that? funny how they think everything they do is right and everything others do is nonsense. i certainly don't recall any religion preaching this. extremists are a funny lot, really. they seem to espouse everything that they say non-believers are. lol.

i'm very proud of the fact that almost all my friends are registered voters. one is even going to endure a 5 hr journey back to her hometown to vote. heheh i always use her as an example when asking people why they hadn't registered. i agree, this election is something to look forward to. i don't think dissatisfaction and anger has ever been this high, and the ruling party knows it too well, that's why there's all the ads and nonsense flying about. sheesh. as if some last minute speeches and promises will make us forget the past 4 yrs.

I LOVE HONG KONG!!!!! there's nothing about that place that makes me hate it...(okay, except for the damn cold winter earlier this yr. super cold! colder than melbourne's winter wtf and melbourne is down south!)

damn. your pictures are making me nostalgic! my aunt used to stay on hollywood street, so i recognise the loooongest escalator in the world (probably) and now she moved to dragon terrace, which is 10 mins walk from causeway bay :P ah i love vitasoy malt soya milk! the park across pacific place is so gorgeous!

where's the world's nicest tau foo far? when i go back there again, i must visit it, although my aunt would probably have moved elsewhere by then -___-. and damn, i missed out on ben and jerrys this time around. damn far to go all the way there just for ice cream hahaha.

oh btw, you and martian should go cycling at the dam near tai po market (mtr station). there's this little stall under a tree along the cycling track that sells uber yummy corned beef sandwiches. perfect with warm vitasoy after a cycling session! the weather when i was there last month wasn't so good though, very hazy and cloudy and full of pollution and VERY COLDDDD. :(

uish, i feel your frustration regarding lazy people who just like to open their mouths and ask and expect the answer to drop into their laps. so irritating! as if they have all the rights in the world to expect someone else to do the donkey work for them. *angry* google is your best friend ok!!! its so much easier to research yourself than to constantly harass someone and bombard them with emails to do it for you. sigh. where do these people come from?

that said, if i were applying to a US uni, i'd be kissing your feet now cos i don't think i've seen such a detailed walkthrough before. :)

well, i was unhappy because i was feeling out of sorts for the entire week and i didn't know why, but my bf patiently discussed my emotions with me and concluded that i am suffering from shopping withdrawal syndrome. sigh. shopping is my stress relief and now i can't shop = all that stress with nowhere to go. so i feel happier knowing what's wrong with me, and i stole some books from him to get my mind occupied. hopefully it'll work. :P
