Jake, do you ever get apprehensive that something you are about to post may have already been covered better or more completely on someone elses blog? That fear keeps me from updating.

Funny thing is, after typing this I just realized I have something unique to add to my blog.

Re: Your First Computer?

My first computer was an Tandy Color MC-10. I got it for Christmas along with a 32kB expansion and a tape recorder with a bunch of games on it. I was very proud of myself to program in a text haunted house adventure and consuming practically all of the available memory. I was even more amazed to find a full-color pinball game on one of the tapes. I couldn't figure out how they got the incredible graphics or the sounds in such a small memory footprint.

A couple of years later I learned from my math teacher they used 'peek' and 'poke' to directly access memory. Unfortuanately in eight grade assembly language was over my head.

Re: Garfield Minus Garfield = Win

Jake, are you familiar with Lasagna Cat?

http://www.lasagnacat.com

Re: I Am Not a Good Lead

I thought WE were the Web 2.0 company?

Anyway, I've gotten those kinds of calls too, and I have less authority than you do Jake. I swear all of the calls end with, "Do you know PHP?"
