in i have a dream… on BibleDude.net
Good to see a post from Mrs. Bible Dude!

I agree that it is great to see someone become president of the USA who does not look like a white-male. Nothing wrong with being a white-male, but it is a joy to see one of the most powerful positions in the world shared with other races. Hopefully, in the near future it will be shared with the other gender. May God bless Obama (and his family) and use him to "advance" the lives of the people of the USA and the issues facing Earth's people.

BibleDude Thanks for your though Krista and Mark! I agree that MLK would be very proud right now. I don't know that he would have imagined that it would take another 40+ years after this speech to see this happen, but it is a great fulfillment of his dream nonetheless! Politics aside... I am rejoicing with those who are rejoicing right now! This speech still gives me goosebumps, and it certainly is a great time to watch it again!

in music monday :: brooke fraser, shadowfeet on BibleDude.net
Hello Mr.Bible Dude!
I thought I would point something out for discussion. On the cover-picture of this artist's music, she shows her bra strap (I assume that is what that is). I have a hard time believing that in a professional picture and cover that this was just an oversight. I believe that this is labeled or marketed as a worship-music genre. Is the producer (and/or singer) trying to market sex appeal with the music? If so (it appears that way) that is a sad thing. Does the Christian Music business need to have sex appeal to sell their music? When does worship of God become so connected with sex appeal? Just some thoughts...
