Question: did you draw this in color and then convert it to b&w?

in Serrated Serenades - Every time I post something important to me, I am... on Music and my Mundane Life
Hey, fuck you.
I'm not pretending like I have a readership of greater than 1. I have no delusions of grandeur, as you seem to think. I'm addressing you, and only you. I'm not saying I want you to fake enthusiasm. My point isn't that you should comment more, it's that I can't continue on like this. It's too lonely, too pointless.
You told me that you wanted me to open up to you rather than keep silent. That's why I'm expressing my feelings now rather than continuing on like I've always done in the past. I'm not trying to show THOSE PEOPLE who's boss. I'm trying to say I know you don't care about me, I can't take it any longer, so just fuck it.

I'm sorry, that was uncalled for. I did not sleep well last night. Please remove the word 'fucking' and replace it with 'charmingly'.

I'm sorry, from now on I'll just never bother to give you my opinion of your music. I've never claimed to have any musical knowledge so forgive me for not writing you a long review detailing in specific musical terms my thoughts and ideas.

So we basically have the same philosophy about arguing--I think we should thus avoid arguing until we've had time to research, because we'll rarely be able to convince each other through word of mouth alone. (Although I don't think that was the problem with this particular argument; I was upset mainly because I felt you weren't taking me seriously.)
We should make English the international language, since according to Babel we live in Asshole World!

Sounds good to me, but not all arguments need research. Some are just because person A (me) is an asshole, in which case there is really no way to solve matters without beating me into unconsciousness.

Oh, I completely missed all mention of D'Nealian style in my brief searches...you win.
And I'm sorry I had to persist in arguing so much. No matter how petty an argument is, it persistently bothers me every second of my life until it's resolved. Unresolved things never leave me alone; if I see a book lying around in the library out of the corner of my eye, it doesn't matter if I'm really busy and try hard to ignore it. It will keep bothering me and overshadowing everything else I do until I give up, find the book, and shelve it. That's why I can't stop arguing until I either win or am convinced that I'm wrong.
In any case, I love you and won't stop loving you no matter how much we argue. <3

I only keep arguing if I have a feeling that what I'm saying isn't complete bullshit. :p
If I know I'm absolutely wrong then I'm willing to concede to the other person.
English is such an asshole language.

Wow, when I said "passion" I totally meant "panel." Sorry. PLUS I linked to completely the wrong file!

Well, I'll be different and say that I preferred the comic with the triumvirate punchline. The textless last passion seems to me to be just bittersweet; but the triumvirate comment turns it from touching to sinister. I would have preferred all the first panels to be textless, and the last one to be different, like this:

And try to remember you can't please everyone. It's great that you pay close attention to your readers' wishes, but don't try too hard. In the end, the content of your comic is for you to decide, and people can take it or leave it.

I was a little confused too, but my personal interpretation was that:
1. Mad scientist created some sort of evil technology that infects people with "things" (mentioned in panel two, then seen in panel three.)
2. They think the scientist is recovering in the asylum, but in reality he has released his horrific technology on the asylum guards.

in Contest voting is open on Simulated Comic Product
It's too late for this now, but perhaps next time the rules can allow multiple entries, but count the votes for each entry separately. In this case, people would be highly discouraged from making multiple comics, since they'd just end up spreading out their votes. Instead, they would be encouraged to spend their time instead on one high quality comic.
Anyway I apologize for the confusion caused by my submitting three different entries; I didn't mean to in the beginning, but I kept having more ideas and couldn't help myself. Not that I'm blaming Kevin, but if the rules had provisions for the issue, I would have held back.
Either way, many thanks to Kevin for having a Creative Commons-licensed comic that allowed this whole thing in the first place. Both this feature and the star-rating system are brave and progressive, I think.

Wonderful Easter comic. It looked like the speech bubble was coming out of the truck at first, though, and I thought it was grass too. But once I got it, it was great. And sad. As usual.

Are we allowed to have more than one entry? If so, I made another one (although it's even less funny than the first.)

I love it! I like this style of humor better than the normal sad robots, to be honest.
It wasn't like I intentionally thought, "Fuck this, I'm not gonna download it." I just kept forgetting about it and all I needed was a gentle reminder to give it a listen. I didn't need an entry dedicated to me about how I don't care about what you do. You should be intelligent enough to understand that I do care and I don't need to leave one lousy comment to show that.
