No real stories to follow from beginning to end. Not polished and well thought out as Brothers and Sisters, another ensemble cast. DSM needs lots of work to make it survive. Needs more indepth stories of each character not just here there and everywhere.

Re: Friday Night Lights: Renew or Cancel?

FNL is geard to a certain demographic - I have tried to get into it, but I find it a little boring because it is totally focused on football and little else. The people always seem to be under so much angst. It would do better on the CW network or Family network. It is definitely a teenage drama.

Re: Overnight Results 11/3: One, Two, Three…Yawn

Years ago they used to have some of the best and high rated shows on Saturday nights - e.g. The Mary Tyler Moore Show and then The Golden Girls. People always went out on Saturday nights even back then, so what is the big difference in putting some high quality shows on Saturday nights? Also what happened to Saturday Night at the Movies?

I bet some of the flunkers would do well switching to Saturday nights and people would be forced to watch them.

Note to the networks: don't knock it till you try it!

Re: Overnight Results 11/15: CBS Sweeps Again

30 Rock is just not that funny - I think it has the potential to be funny with the characters and actors it has, but the writing and plots are weak. It is nowhere near the calibre of Seinfeld, Friends or Everybody Loves Raymond. It is just mediocre. It is all in the writing!

Re: Overnight Results 12/10

The show Oprah produced and aired on Sunday night was boring as heck! It was so disjointed - going back and forth. I found it totally mundane and so did some of my friends that tuned in. Most of us turned it off and switched to early news or a cable movie or QVC! Oprah give up on producing movies of any kind! Stick to your day job.

Re: Weekly Network Ratings: 12/31-1/6, NBC Sweeps!

Cashmere Mafia stunk!

My vote: CANCEL

Re: Nielsen Ratings Thur, Mar 13: CBS Pulls in a Win, Lost Rules 9pm

My guess is Lipstick Jungle. Eli Stone is kind of quirky but cute.
