Very interesting article. I'm currently doing 2 days a week for lifting (upper body one day, lower body the other day), 8 exercises per workout, 8-12 reps (1 set) to failure as per one of your previous blog posts. This seems to be working pretty well. My fiancée and I have seen the best results in the gym using this routine than anything else we've tried, but we're always looking to improve.
What are your thoughts in comparing our current routine to this 5x5, never to failure, routine of 3 key exercises?
It's pretty sweet how the prices are really coming down on hand-held HID flashlights. I have a large, 35-watt HID right now, but it's considerably bigger that the AE light you speak of. I'd love to have the top-of-line 25-watt version of this light!
LED's will soon be on par with short-arc lights in terms of output and efficiency though. Cree is supposedly getting close to it's commercial release of it's single-di, 1000 lumen emitter.
