Once upon a time a few years ago my son had the chance to meet Kwame; he was so tickled about it at the time, got to shake his hand and talk with him one-on-one. But now I've had to explain to my son that the man he thought was da' bomb is now up to his ears in trouble and shouldn't be seen as a role model any longer.
All because Kwame made many bad choices.
Really wish Kwame was a different sort of learning opportunity for my kids, but hey, it's always been up to Kwame to choose what he would be.
That's the saddest part, that Kwame brought this all on himself. Now other people like Obama are going to have to make choices of their own, and it's not going to be good for Kwame. Kwame needs to man up, take his lumps for the choices he's made, and make better choices from here on out until time does its work on his record.

BTW: The conservative wingnuts out there who ranted and carried on about this team being on Clinton's payroll as part of her blogger army sure had this blogger wrong (and they were wrong about much of the rest of the team, too, in so many ways). That's about the only satisfaction I have out of this heartbreaking situation.

Yeah, the district is solidly blue, so she's over the hump.
At least as far as the Congressional race goes; now she needs to take the hint and spank that son of hers and tell him to man up and take his lumps and get out of the way or risk any decent living he might make in the future. He is such damaged goods right now; he's going to need to do some serious work for a decade to clean up his mess.
