I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by this. After visiting the page again I've seen that some changes have been made. 1) They've removed tech tips for calorie counting 2) They've thrown out the name Della. You'll notice that the pink logo is gone now. Dell is definitely listening to us. I look forward to seeing how they revamp the site.

Indeed. It's an unconventional game that can be frustrating. I think that as more to do with the way the game is set up. Once you figure it all out you're grateful for the experience.

Great question. I have no idea. I'm only familiar with what's going on in New York. And New York is hardly a gaming capital here in the U.S. I bet there are a couple of casual gaming shops based out of Chicago due to it's low real estate prices. You might want to check out the digital meetup scene in your area for leads.

You bring up a valid point. None of this has been confirmed by the Microsoft team in the UK. But I have yet to see any comment from them on this issue (they simply denied the claim and failed to comment). I also respect the Daily Mail's ability to fact check its stories. The article also mentions that Jamie Durrant is on government backed leave from his job. So something definitely happened there. And I think it's important to at least discuss it given the rampant homophobia that occurs on Live.

Re Gamer tags: I think the XBL policy should be applied across the board in reference to sexual orientation being mentioned in one's gamer tag. We either ban all references to sexual orientation in the tags or we allow it for everyone. Right now homosexuals on Live are being unfairly targeted and the XBL team needs to work on fixing that. They are paying customers too. They shouldn't have to feel the need to hide that part of themselves if straight gamers aren't being held to the same standard.

I know it's a delicate issue. But I think this is an opportunity for Live to make the customer experience awesome for anyone who wants to play online.

The game developers decided to give us what they thought we wanted from her character. Instead we got an empty character that is serves as a strange sideshow. As a female gamer I have to say that it's incredibly disappointing.

The Ultimate History of Video Games could easily become my favorite. I want to learn more about the business of the gaming industry. And I think this book gives the reader a glimpse into the budding stages of the industry.
