But you can't really go wrong with Nikon either. There are some really good entry level dslr like the Canon XSi(~$700) or the newer Canon T1i(~$1000). You can also go used and get the Canon 40D which is an excellent camera.

If you can do without the video which the T1i offers, then I would recommend going used and getting the 40D. Or if you have the money, get the 50D which is the newer verision. This is what I have and I love it!

Just remember, you'll probably be spending more on the lens than the camera body. Good lenses make a BIG difference in photo quality. Of course, the person behind the camera does as well. ;) Good Luck!

Oh, definitely ask others like @brandice (Canon XSi), @djsteen (Canon XTi) and @coreyharris (Nikon D60)

Re: Before and After – Ellen + Tobey

He has a good eye! Some people like pictures that don't have alot of processing while others like it. Personally, I like both.

Re: Podcamp Ohio

I think I owe you a beer for all the wonderful tea you sent me! I have not had any issues with the actual WordPress app though. Most of my photoblogging is done via Tumblr (http://tumblr.com), which has an amazing iPhone app.

Re: Weekend Photography Fest #2

I would be so jealous if you guys had a mini shoot without me. :(

Re: What I Like About AIM Away Message / Gtalk Status

are you talking about my original script? http://blog.gpowered.net/2008/03/update-google-...

I don't know much about macs, but check this out
http://muffinresearch.co.uk/archives/2008/02/05...

Re: Maybe-Not

I feel like they recorded stuff for the vid.

Re: Disneyland

i probably could've gone longer if i wasn't carrying my camera gear all day. my back was killing me by 10pm.

Re: Disneyland

Thanks Drew!

Re: Commenting with Disqus…

Thanks Brandice :)
