I'm not overly worried about tech myself. I see it as the optimism in the market. It's an untainted sector and if the economy is fine it has good growth potential. Imo, if you see tech flush that's the sign of fear. Too early yet.

GOOG needs to close the Gap 525 - 475. Overall tech is still stronger than the DOW & S&P. Bulls seem to still be holding on to their positions in tech. Do not like this divergence too much.

Should break support based on recent price/volume action. Nasdaq is still strong technically. So we have some divergence between DOW, S&P & the Nasdaq.

you have a chart of a mkt average to go along with that idea? just curious what POTENTIAL support prices you monitor?

for me, SPX is in control of the bears until 1399 to 1404 zone becomes support again.

1404 is a major horizontal going back to 2007.

what I monitor as support BELOW current price is holding for now.

Personally, I think the battle has yet to be won at the support prices near lod.

They'll kiss 5 day MAs at some point...or at least 1 day up close after 500 DJIA points down in 2 days...I've got patience...and yeah, sometimes too much...but works for me

I would personally not wait. Bear runs rarely give you opportunities to catch a meaningful pullback. Load up 75% now and the rest 25% if there is any meaningful pullback.
This recent run was the real pullback given to bulls as a last chance.
