A dogs life is more valuable than a human. That's the problem! When we start making excuses for why an unarmed man dies at the hands of another man.. we need to really start looking at ourselves as people. This man was not accused of rape, child molestation, or murder....to be honest what was he really accused of......selling cigs $5?

Re: Lawyer: No indictment for officer in NYC chokehold death

Your missing the issue... A man lost his life! How much is your life worth?

Re: Lawyer: No indictment for officer in NYC chokehold death

According to the NY Times news article...The police were called because there was a fight. The man that died was breaking up the fight. The officers knew the man because he often sold cigarettes in front of that store. Funny enough, he wasn't selling cigarettes that day, and they arrested him and ultimately ended up killing him . NYC has a long history of police brutality you are hearing of it more often now because we have so many more outlets of getting information out there to the masses. Don't look at it as a race issue. Look at it as an issue. Remember that this was one man an unarmed man up against at least four men with guns, tasers and power. Whenever a police officer says that he felt scared or threatened when they are up against a person with no weapons that concerns me and it should concern you too. The officer is the one with all the power he has the gun, he has the back up, he has the taser he has a whole police force to come to his aide. These men that have died at the hands of these officers had NO WEAPONS! This is the problem. Please keep in mind that we are all human, we all bleed and put our pants on the same way. Just because you are a priest, police officer, teacher, or judge doesn't mean you don't do bad things....life has taught us better than that. #justmytwocents Be safe!
