Hi toni! Hmmm... There's Mt. Apo (via Davao or Kidapawan City), Mt. Matutum (via General Santos). There's the beaches of Mati in Davao Oriental, Sta. Cruz islands in Zamboanga. Or Aliwagwag Falls of Cateel, also in Davao Oriental. There are so many places! Don't know where to start...

My pleasure, adyjohn. Yes, we do have lots of rice fields and other agricultural sights in Mindanao, but there are also quite a few metropolitan areas like Davao and Cagayan de Oro. I do hope you make it here one of these days! :)

Hello adyjohn. While we cannot ignore the fact that there are terrorist activities in Mindanao, it is a common mistake to think that it's happening all over the island. And Mindanao is not a small island. In spite of the pockets of conflict-riddled areas, there are still many parts of Mindanao that are safe. It's even been said before that Mindanao's cities are much safer than some of the streets in New York City.
