So you would buy this over the nokia n97? I'm on the fence about getting the either device since you can get the i8910 from http://importgsm.com ($599), which is about the same price as the nokia n97 at newegg ($579). I feel like I'm getting more for the money with the i8910, but I think the nokia n97 will be better for the long haul in terms of community. I'm not a big content creator, but I always would like the options. Any suggestions?

Wow ... its usually only one phone that makes the blurry cam shot, but multiple ones is a rare occurrence.

They might as well say it runs Windows with small print "and also Android". Acer sure did take advantage of all the press it received from releasing a netbook with Android, only to slide Windows on the machine at the last minute. I just can't see running Android as a primary OS at this point in time, but that doesn't mean I want to pay the Windows tax either just because its "familiar".

Great review Brad,

I really enjoyed using my 1000H before I got an Samsung NC10 for the great keyboard and battery life. I am now considering going back to the EEE 1000HE (I have a gadget problem, I know) since they redesigned the keyboard and gave it a bigger battery. Plus I enjoyed the community that is involved with Linux on the EEE PCs. Do you see any reason to stay with the NC10 now that the 1000HE is out?

Hopefully this will fix some of the problems with slow read/write speeds users were having with the SSD under Windows XP

I paid a little more to get it locally with taxes and all, but it was purely an impulse buy and I don't regret it so far. The MSI Wind had my attention but I figure I could use this for a couple of months until it gets easily available in the US.

I picked up an Acer Aspire One from a local store today. Its pretty nice so far even though I haven't been able to fully test it yet. I'm gonna install Ubuntu on it and see how that works out once I get the 8.04.1 iso downloaded. I will possibly take some unboxing photos also and post them up somewhere.

I agree Mike. I've all but given up on getting an MSI Wind. Does it have a good keyboard? Yes. Does it have some of the features I'm looking for? Yes. Am I willing to wait 2 more months to get it? No... Its almost as if MSI doesn't want my business.....

It just got a little worse for the MSI Wind. Its basically a price and availability battle at this point.
