good ole sun and its advocative journalism.

i suspect the scare is that if it gets universally popular it will be suspicious if people didn't have it. some how i can't see it happening, majority of society is not interested, just as they are not interested in facebook.

to be fair any relationship in which you'd check up on your significant other whether they actually are with friends is doomed in the first place. i really don't think it's google's place to teach any one honesty. or any other virtues for that matter.

let's please not lose the perspective here.

oh give me a break! Normob is cute. i imagine maybe the 'mob' bi might have dubious connotations but let's not be too precious. This is a differentiation method, so if anything using 'people' would imply mobile geeks are not people - how's that for politeness?

of course, but you addressed jaiku users in general, so i just wanted to point out that there some of us slightly weird like that.
twitter is no good for collaboration, it's a notice board, let's face it, it has it's pluses but it's talking at people not with them. of course there are alternatives to everything, somehow jaiku managed ot attract some really amazing people so far.

do excuse me, as this might be a shocking thing to say on this forum but:
Jaiku users are not ALL concerned with handsets. Not everybody wants to live-stream all the time - good god i think I'd rather die.
Of course it's a matter of getting real, but do let people kick off - we just like to exchange thoughts and collaborate and G1 has little to do with that

weeellllll it works if you're interested in updates from people you consider to be 'somebody'. that's why i signed up. not that i have much to announce to the universe - and it's all announcements (true that people don't review the importance of their announcements much - "watching some films", oh no shit! fascinating). if you want discussion i propose jaiku.
