I hope they able to Tour outside of Canada. Though I don't know if ithey would be good live, I'd still want to see them.

I still like the original the leaked out that did not make it to the official album list

After listening to this album over 20 times now, the only songs I can't and skip over are 17, I Want You, and Revelry. The first three songs pumped me up so much that the rest of the album felt like a letdown from that point on. Oh well, I still can listen to over 20 of their songs constantly in my infinite loop play list.

I've listen to the album maybe 50 times now. I was disappointed with it just as I was at first with Because of the times. It grew on me where maybe 5-6 songs can go on my list of songs from KOL that I can play infinitely. Still miss the Raw energy and rough production of the first two albums!

you should just create a simple personality test and do what facebook dev people do, invite friends to see your results :D but seriously, a basic version of the test/advance version they can take later would help. Also mid-point save during the quiz?

God I hope their new album rocks. I have been disappointed in most of the albums released this year (I count Vampire weekend in 2007 when I got their music).

i don't understand why you don't listen to the albums on Rhapsody before buying. I listened to the Dodo's and though they sound crisp, they aren't anything special. Collett is good.

I am somewhat dissappointed with their new album. It doesn't have that fire and fun the first one had. I didn't realize in the first one that every song was about love, and women, but it was a bit too much on this album.

I like their sound and Lump Sum in my head right now but I always hate it when the tone of the voices blend with the music so much that it is hard to make out the lyrics. That would be my only complaint.

Some people around the valley keep thinking facebook will be out/dead in 4 Years. I keep saying they've been doing a lot of things right these past 4-5 years and I think even in their mistakes, they are trying to make their system the best it can be. If Yahoo can be the regular starting page for internet users for basic content, why can't Facebook be there in the long run for the social content?

Well, what I see here in Silicon Valley is if they go to the same networking events, everyone fb friends each other really quickly afterwards. They aren't really connected except for the fact that went to that one networking event that one time.

I saw them Live in San Fran and they were great. One thing I have to say though is I don't like the mix they have on the CD vs. what I heard two months ago. They just sound a bit louder and less crisp on the album for me.

I am seeing them Live in San Fran on the 31th. Are they doing gigs in NYC? Have you seen them live yet?

As a 23 year old Democrat and as a College grad. who dived into startups in NY and now in Cali. without a technical degree, connections, the "experience," I see Obama mirroring what I've gone through. When you want to do big things, you have to dream big, you have to be a little irrational but still drive forward with what you believe in. I really didn't know what to do after college but I knew whatever I set my mind to, I'd be able to get there by dreaming big. I picked tech startups as something to try out for 3 years even though I knew most people don't hire business grads without experience (they want cs majors from Stanford or people with experience). I dug into the NY tech scene and got my first test of startups and later on made the move to Cali without a job and very little savings (I had enough to survive out there for 2-3 months) and here I am 10 months later with a job as a marketing/project manager for a young startup for the past 6 months.

What I am trying to say is from my perspective, experience isn't that big of a deal to me vs. seeing if a person has a strong internal drive. I see that in different ways between Obama and Hillary.

Hillary has been working and building up to this moment for years and dreams to make big things happen once she gets to the top. While Obama is fresh to the scene and is dreaming big right now. Whether he can actually achieve what he is doing is all up to his drive in my opinion. They will both make good presidents, but I think Obama might be willing to push us like no other candidate could.

I tried MOG and there is nothing special that I found in it. It didn't help efficiently discover new music Ala Pandora nor gave a great intergration with Rhapsody. maybe I was using it wrong, I don't know.

Hm.. When are we going to see the extended post about KOL?

I've been getting more and more pissed at Rhapsody lately. I've used it for the last few months after reading about it on your blog but lately, it has been having a lot of issues logging into the server. Apparently, Real networks needs you to erase your history and cache periodically on all the browsers (I use flock, firefox, and once in a long time, IE) to get it to log in. So yeah, I can't wait myself until something better comes long. The integration between rhapsody and my Sansa has not been as great as it should have been.

I don't know. I love a compilation cd someone made a while ago of his work. It has the two 3 songs I love from him: Pocket full of money, Julie (Remix) , and Black Cab. Though his new album is interesting, I like "Oh, You're So Silent, Jens" a lot better.
