The outrage over Fifty Shades of Grey isn't just book snobbery, it's fear. People fear the unknown and don't want to take the time to try to understand a subject before striking it down. It's really much the same as the Twilight haters and the Harry Potter haters and so on and so forth.

The thing that gets me is the banning of the books from a public library. Why is it that we can walk into a library and pick up a Harlequin Romance or a copy of Lolita, or even some of these other books that are out there these days but we can't go in pick up Fifty Shades.

I've read it, it's in sore need of editing for sure, but it wasn't as horrible as it could have been.

I'm in for this one. I finally got around to posting it on my book blog, but I'm ready to give this a shot. I'm at 1 book a week to meet my goal and I'm already on my 3rd book.

I thought of the Oxy Clean, but it didn't work. Soda stains on yarn are really difficult, especially the acrylic type yarns. Thanks for the comment tho!

Strange. Semagic is an odd application, I'm starting to think. I was fiddling around this morning with it and it worked without the any error.

I do use MetaWeblog on the server settings.

Yep, every time. I tried disabling everything but that one and it still did it.

I am currently using Semagic to post with since it's compatible with Livejournal as well.
The error that it returns is "Error parsing response XML" - It actually does push the post through.
Trying to poll the history for editing shows the same error as well.

Great plugin! However, I use the xmlrpc to post from an outside client and it causes a conflict that makes it impossible to post or edit from the outside client.

This will be fun to see the results of. I saw the first UGM created back then and can't wait to see how this one turns out. Best of luck with it Leo. It'll make the summer interesting to watch and listen to while I'm working. :)
