Nice scenery and not that crowded on weekends.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There are also a few pay ponds around if you like them too. I cant remember the name of the one we have went to before but it is nearby Mountaindale Road (going towards thurmont).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another place is Whittier pond. Its not that bad but gets crowded at times...and there are alot of geese and ducks you have to step around.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;its not in frederick, but we always have luck going down to Harpers Ferry.
