Most bears believe these driving forces. Yet they continue to short the market? I do not understand.

Re: A Value Proposition

It's 10,988.76 to be exact.

Re: A Value Proposition

We did retrace..and it was today and not much. So we should continue to rally tomorrow.

I think people are calling for a pullback too soon. The technicals just don't show it. Remember we went above 10k (and SPX 1100) the first time and then corrected, and now we're back, which means it's going way beyond the mere 10350-10500 to the next big resistance which is at Dow 11,000. With 7 weeks left and no serious correction, I think they're gonna make it a great Christmas. The Dow leads now. http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?s=djia

Re: FXI - Breakout to new highs or exhaustion?

Because he's mad at Buffett for acquiring the railroad and boosting investor confidence all over the world, while he and his Minyanvilles are short the market and getting steamrolled. I would expect a larger IT type of correction from there. What happens after that is anyone's guess.
