Ash, the import starts immediately but we found that users got concerned when it isn't done after a minute or two, so we added the option to get the email you received and not wait to get started. Small sets of pages, a few dozen up to maybe 150-200, will finish right away but users have imported as many as 12,000!

We plan to add some features in the next release cycle that will simplify using RawSugar as a backup/alternate along the lines of your post here by the way and when we do I look forward to your feedback.

Damn. Viv's firm's holiday party is tonight at some swank hotel in SF, I'll have to see what cognac--or better yet, single malt scotch--they have for us. Tell Laurent, since he should be pleasantly sedated by now, to enjoy it while it lasts. And email me a code ;)
