Also, when someone bumps into you, it's very British to say "Sorry" to them.

No, those are braces. We call them the plural too. I think the difference is that we don't have a separate word for 'retainer' - that would be braces as well.. Or maybe *that's* the singular.

Torley, that is the greatest thing I have ever heard. I'm so made up for you guys. You're both simply wonderful, and it's amazing that you're together.

Well, I use them with the Flickr API and the SL Map API to make that map thing of mine (which is a little borked right now)
But you could do things like pull-out all the photos from (say) Grassmere and display them as a continually updated snapshot of what's going on around your build.
Or something - it just makes mash-ups very easy :-D

Heh, it crashes for me too if I try and do anything before SL's finished uploading the postcard. I just leave it be and make a brew while it's doing its stuff ;)

When I was very young, and just getting my feet wet in programming for the first time, I demonstrated my complete lack of time-perspective by telling a programme to sleep for a billion seconds.
In about 4 years time (if it's still switched on) some old terminal screen somewhere in Belfast is going to pop up with the words "Hello World!"
