in When There’s Nothing On The Horizon You’ve Got Nothing Left To Prove: Saying farewell to the 2008-09 Indiana Hoosiers on Inside the Hall
As much as I love to bash IU for being knuckleheads, (Trustees I'm refering to) I am hoping for IU to recover. One thing I would like to see though is the length of the shorts getting back up to just above the knees. I mean, if the NBA has a rule where the shorts are above the knees, why can't IU be a little different and implement a similar style... at least we would look a little different.

Thanks and Go Hoosiers

in Around the Hall: Could IU go winless in the Big Ten? on Inside the Hall
Kelin, Do you live in IN? If so, why not support Butler, ND or Purdue? These are teams that fit the mold of IU teams who I grew up watching? IU became popular nationally for getting the most out of their players and not having a "me first" attitude. The 2002 team was the last of these teams. Hopefully you will support teams within the state. And if you live in Indy go to Butler games. If IU wants to regain my support, they have to start winning the right way. All the best

Kelin Blab M--(nice name by the way)

I support Butler in the tourney because they are local here in Indy.....supporting Purdue is the 11th commandment and supporting ND is the 12th....

In all honesty, that is why I love "the state of Indiana" basketball. Fans are LOYAL and it is really part of our culture. I never went to IU, but my dad started me watching basketball with watching IU games on satelite and the rest is history. I could never cheer for Purdue EVEN if they went to the final four! NEVER

Butler does things the right way, play at a great gym, and have local kids BUT IU is IU and Butler is Butler. Debating a Purdue fan about the # of Horizon league titles BU has won is far different than debating the banners IU has hung....

IU will be back....be patient

in The Morning After: Northeastern, or, Serenity Now on Inside the Hall
There was a great article by Seth Davis this morning where he mentioned how Tyreke Evans is not that good b/c he never developed as a player due to the fact that all he did was play AAU ball. Hopefully Crean will recruit players who are fundemental and have an upside...then it all comes down to coaching. As we have seen with the past 2 coaches (Davis, Sampson), the player regress. I am looking forward to seeing a fundementally sound IU team in the years to come. Good luck to Crean

Good Job... now I hope all you guys can see what I was talking about when I was saying how everyone need to kicked off of the team. Everyone raged. I think Crean is much much better than Sampson, and I'm going to be pulling for him, but I just don't know how good of an X's and O's guy he is. I hope he does all right and continues to recruit the right kind of guys once we are back on top.
